Regulatory Notice and Classification

Under the EU-derived Novel Foods Regulation (EU) 2015/2283, overseen by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), Turkey Tail has been classified as a Novel Food. As a result, it can no longer be sold within the UK or EU as a food, food ingredient, or food supplement.

In line with these regulations and guidance from Trading Standards, Coeur Sauvage no longer offers Turkey Tail mushrooms for consumption, functional, or supplement use.
