Wild-foraged Winter Chanterelles, delicate, earthy, and richly aromatic. Sourced from Scottish and European forests, these gourmet mushrooms are perfect for pasta, soups, sauces, and toast. A seasonal chef’s favourite across the UK.

Fresh Winter Chanterelles (Craterellus tubaeformis), also known as Grey Chanterelles or Chanterelles Grises, are one of the most prized wild mushrooms in the UK and Europe. With their delicate texture, earthy aroma, and subtle peppery notes, they elevate any dish, from creamy pasta and soups to a simple serving on buttered toast.

Seasonal Foraging & Origins

  • Main Season: October to February
  • Limitted Avaulibility: March & September
  • Grown under both coniferous trees (spruce, pine, fir) and broadleaf woodland (birch, beech, oak).
  • In Scotland, Winter Chanterelles are known to appear in spectacular colonies, carpeting the forest floor in golden-brown hues — a true gift from nature.
